As Monmouth County’s only traditional synagogue, FJC offers a distinctive home for Jewish prayer, learning, and connection. Historically known as “Conservadox,” our approach brings traditional ritual together with a shared congregational life.
Rooted in tradition
Our services follow traditional Ashkenazic liturgy, with some Sephardic additions, using the ArtScroll Siddur. Men serve as prayer leaders, and a minyan of ten men is required for specific portions of the service.
A place together
Men and women may sit together, and separate seating is available. Both men and women give Divrei Torah, serve in leadership, and participate equally on the ritual committee.
